I’m honoured to be mentioned! And I absolutely love this line ‘Or, we can look at life and remember - this is life.’

It’s something I need to remind myself over and over again, all this messiness and struggle and weariness…it’s just life! We’ve got to take the tiny moments where we can.

Sending love from the trenches 💛

I really resonate with this. Letting go of fighting reality and learning to flow with it, even when it’s messy, is so powerful. Thank you for sharing so honestly — it’s a reminder that being with what is is where real strength lives. 💛

I loved all of this comment. There is a zen teaching around not arguing with reality and I think about that a lot. It helps me sink into what is, then I forget and I remember.

Oh Emma, tears and goosebumps reading this. Thank you for this. It feels like you wrote the words that live in my heart. I also imagine the neurotypical parent enjoying it when I so often feel like I am drowning and taking everyone down with me. I also sometimes remember that it just is, that this is life, that in the showing up and trying and being human and communicating it all with my kids, that I am already doing so much. I also agonize over how much they are like me, all the parts I wouldn't wish on anyone and am trying so hard to accept unconditionally. Thank you for naming all of this, for showing me that I am not alone.
